If it is your genetic predisposition to be born with a naturally
skinny body (ectomorph as they like to call it) it can be difficult to
try and become one of the "big guys". Sometimes it is a tough road to
gain any weight at all let alone muscle. It is something that could be
considered a very difficult task and in some cases it could be even
more difficult than those who are trying to lose weight through proper
dieting.
This can be a very difficult and daunting task overall
but, if you are really interested in body building, there have been
many that have climbed to the challenge and met it head on with
spectacular results. There are current top tier body builders that have
overcome the skinny guy label and have become one of those physically
gifted specimens.
Now just because you have been born this way
doesn't mean that you will end up having to stay this way. It will take
hard work and determination to help build muscle mass that will stick,
but once you begin and stay disciplined, you will find that you can
pretty much do whatever you want. The important thing is that you work
out efficiently and do what is best for your body.
Ectomorphs are
the body type which is prototypically as skinny, they find it very hard
in putting weight because of the metabolic activity of the body burning
calorie quickly that affects the resting, exercising as well the
dietary activity.
You need to lessen your exercise and get some rest
Do
you think what I suggest is very ridiculous? How will exercising less
as well as resting more gives a benefit to gain more muscles, isn't it
the opposite? Answer to this will be on how built is your muscles, it
will not be when you lift weights, it is on relaxation. Analyze when
your lifting those weights there are much stresses in the muscles that
are forcing them to tear apart. Then the tear needs enough rest, a
nutrient for healing, more proteins thus making those muscles strong.
The people with skinny complexion do require more relaxation in order
to fix the muscles; another issue will be on over exercising that
really makes more stress, giving no beneficial effects because they
don't get enough resting to have a good effect when working out.
Get in the Heavier Weights, With Lesser Repetitions
Just
like the suggestion above, you need to focus on the heavier weights so
that you will not be repeating over and over again with that of the
smaller weights so often. When your pushing yourself, then stressing
those muscles, then more likely you need enough rest to build up. If
possible, don't use those machines, its better if you're using the
weights because they are giving impacts to group of muscles instead of
exercising in the machines.
